 EYE RELIEF®

Dry Eye Lubricant:
Glycerin (0.3%), propylene glycol (1.0%) - Lubricants

Temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.

Benzalkonium chloride 0.01%. (BAK)

15 ml in 1 bottle

Good pricing and good enough for occasional dry eyes.

15 ml size is good value.

May not be lubricating enough. Think wetting eye drops rather than lubricating eye drops-Wetting being something like pouring water on the skin and lubricating being using a lotion on the skin.

May not be long lasting enough for severe dry eyes.

May sting on application.

Use this for occasional dry eyes like when reading or using the computer.

Skip if you are a daily user. For one, it contains BAK as preservative which may not be good for long term use.

For the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.

POLYQUAD (Polyquaternium-1) 0.001%

15ml, 30ml, 3.5 tube.

POLYQUAD preservative so far has a greater safety advantage over BAK. But still stick to single use vials for long term use.

Should not sting due to the type of preservative used.

Ultra, gel drops may make the eyelids crusty.

May experience cloudy vision initially.

For single use vials, place opened vial in small plastic pill bags and use for the day. Discard remainder at end of day.

Be careful with tip of container touching any surface.

Stick to the single use vials if you intend to use lubricant eye drops daily for a long time.
