Alright, let's see what to use over-the-counter for this dry mouth.
Bear in mind that this is a temporary fix. The best way to take care of this is getting rid of the cause of dryness of the mouth.
You will need saliva substitutes to help with this dry mouth.
With this in mind, see what is recommended for dry mouth over-the-counter.
Look for formulations with xylitol which is a tooth-friendly sugar alcohol.
It has the advantage of reducing cavities, remineralization of the enamel before cavities are formed and the sensation of sweetness increases saliva secretion.

Look for mouthwashes with carboxymethyl cellulose or hydroxyethyl cellulose.
The viscosity simulate saliva.

1. Regularly sip water.
2. Chew sugar-free gums or suck on sugar-free hard candies.
3. Stay away from over-the-counter antihistamines
4. Do not breathe through the mouth.
5. Cut down on the intake of coffee or energy drinks. They contain caffeine which causes dry mouth.
