How bad is it?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is it?
Pharmacist

Pharmacist

Not too bad.

If child just came in contact with the poison ivy, oak or sumac, wash the affected area with soap and water.

The oil binds to the skin after about 5 minutes. So wash it off to avoid or reduce the reaction.

If about 15 minutes has passed or you have noticed some kind of symptom, then let's continue.

Getting bad?

Seek urgent care.
